Browick Road Primary

Emergency Message

Wymondham’s local schools are working together to provide emergency childcare over the Easter holidays for the children of approved key workers who are involved in the front-line response to the Covid 19 crisis.

Places have been arranged for eligible Browick Road children at Robert Kett Primary School’s ‘Extra Time’ club. If, during the holiday, you need to contact the childcare service (ie shift changes for emergency workers or redeployment that means you now need urgent access) please call the Robert Kett Primary School office on 01953 603405 or email

    Litter Pick

South Norfolk Council provided all the necessary equipment and several members of the public thanked the children for their efforts. We collected quite a few bags of rubbish and it is hoped that lots of the other classes will have the chance to do their own litter pick.

    Swimming Gala

At the beginning of February, 22 children from Year 4, 5 and 6 went to Wymondham Leisure Center to compete in a swimming gala. Six sports leaders went as well to time people's races. I think everyone did well, no one failed to complete their races. Even if they fell behind they never gave up. Everyone showed good sportsmanship and didn't get sad if they got a lower placement.

Six children (Aaliyah, Harry, Samuel, Scarlett, Farrell and Imogen) qualified to represent the Wymondham Cluster on 25th February. Which went very well; the cluster came 3rd out of 6.
