We spent a magical morning in Forest School making potions, inspired by Julia Donaldson’s ‘Room on the Broom’. After enjoying the story together, we acted on the witch’s instructions to ‘find something everyone, throw something in’, and set off to collect leaves, grass, pinecones, petals and berries to stir into our own potions. A ‘magical space rocket’ potion, a ‘magic flower’ potion and a ‘magic horse fish potion’ were amongst the children’s fabulous creations! Why not have a go at making your own potions during half term? You might even be able to think of your own magic words….. Click here to listen to the story if you need some inspiration!
