Year 1 have worked very hard with a range of drawing tools such as charcoal, pencil chalk and pastel to make marks.  Initially, we investigated the tools on a variety of materials.  Then we learnt how to use drawing techniques such as hatching, cross hatching, zig-zags, blending and smudging.  Finally, we applied what we had learnt to draw an animal and to add texture by using a range of drawing marks.  We are proud of our work.
