Year 2 – R.E. – Humanism

Our big question this half term is: ‘Why do people have different views about the idea of God?’

Today we had a visit from John Turner. John is a Humanist and he spoke to us about what that means. He explained their three important things: asking questions, being kind and finding happiness. We talked about what these things mean to us. Back in the classroom, we looked at some ‘what would you do?’ philosophy style questions.

What would you do if you found £10 on the street?

What would you do if your friend was being called names?
