Welcome to the Early Years Foundation Stage at Browick Road Primary and Nursery School. We have two classes within our EYFS, catering for children from 3 to 5 years old.

Children may attend our Nursery sessions from their 3rd birthday. They are able to take morning sessions (8:45am – 11:45am) or stay for full days (8:45am – 3:15pm), including lunch.

Children are admitted to our Reception class at the beginning of the academic year in which they will turn 5. Unfortunately, being a pupil at our Nursery does not guarantee a child a place in our Reception class. All applications for Reception places must be made through Norfolk County Council Admissions. For more information, please see the ‘Admissions to Reception’ section under the ‘Reception Class’ tab.

In both classes, we base our practice on The Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework. You can find this document here: Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.

We also use the non-statutory guidance in Development Matters.
