Year 1 had an enjoyable and engaging trip to Banham Zoo. As trainee zookeepers, we discussed the types of food each animal group needed and identified animals by looking at their skulls. We also learned how to stroke a large stick insect.
As we walked around the zoo, we spotted many animals we recognised. Some animals were camouflaged, making them difficult to spot. We looked at the information boards and discovered the continents the animals came from. We also enjoyed a ride on the road train.
Thank you to our parent helpers. We appreciated your help throughout the visit. Also, thank you to the Friends for paying for our coach.
