Over the last few weeks, we have been exploring textures and colours.  We learnt that surfaces can have different textures and this changes how a surface feels in our hands.  We also learnt about the primary colours and discovered that these three colours can come in a variety of tones and shades.  We learnt about the parts of a paintbrush and practised the ‘dip, dip’ dab’ method when painting.  We thought about ‘controlled brushstrokes’ and how the paint flows over different textures.
