On Thursday 8th May, we went to Whitlingham lake to experience and enjoy 4 different water sports. Across our 4 groups, the instructors led us in kayaking, canoeing, sailing and stand up paddle boarding (SUP). When we got there, the instructors got us to put on our buoyancy aids (life jackets), then we set off to do the activities. It was so much fun and we all got quite wet! Luckily, we brought spare clothes. Some of us fell or jumped in during the activities, but those who didn’t and wanted to get wet did the ‘Whitlingham Wave’ which is where you flick water in the air and then fall backwards into the water. It was really fun and we all had a great time.
