We will also be: learning new sounds, starting to read words and making gingerbread men.
Having fun and being creative was the focus for this week. The children have really enjoyed exploring their surrounds, making new friends and creating wonderful play stories together. We have had lots of opportunities to go and explore our newly developed outside area and we even took our musical maths outside. What a great week we have had back at school and we cannot wait to see what other wonderful learning opportunities will come next!
In our first week of Year 5, we did a 15 question quiz which was really fun and we all had a good laugh. We also played a game called ‘Mystery Me’ where we had to guess each other’s identity. Then we did art where we had inspiration from a video to decorate the front cover of our art books with all different shades of colour. It went really well! Finally, we did some writing about what we are good at and what we are looking forward to in Year 5!
